Father: Violino Do Retiro
Violino do Retiro, owned by the Manzanares breeding farm in Crest, France, is a beautiful, smoky black Lusitano stallion, born in 2001 at the famous Brazilian breeding farm Villa do Retiro.
His origins include the lines of Dardo II and Zimbro II (through his sire Nobel do Retiro) as well as Quimono (through his dam Harpa II).
He obtained numerous titles in Models & Gaits in Brazil and became Champion of Champions in 2007. He proceeds with his dressage career under the saddle of Carlos Pinto.
He has many confirmed champions among his progeny, and the average punctuation of his descendance presented for approval is 76 pts. Several have even exceeded 80 points.
He passes on his size, structure, and gaits to his offspring, and furthermore, he has an impeccable mind. For all these reasons, he is a stallion of choice for anyone hoping for a sport-oriented foal without losing his Lusitano "character."
